Municipal Awareness Week is November 20 to 26, 2017

Municipal Awareness Week was designed to get people thinking about the integral role that municipal services have in daily life; the importance of selecting a municipal representative; and the assortment of responsibilities that we are in charge of as opposed to what other levels of government are in charge of.

Join Council and the Student Government for a special Committee of the Whole meeting at Forest Heights Community School (FHCS). If you have never attended a meeting of Council, now certainly would be a good time to do it. Did you know that the Municipality partnered with the School Board to create the "community school" concept for FHCS way back in 1990?

If you can't make the meeting, follow the Municipality on Facebook and ask questions as we livestream the meeting on Facebook Live! Agendas are posted online here.

After the meeting, soak in the ambience of the galleria while enjoying some hors d'oeuvres and chatting with your elected officials! Sign our guestbook for a chance to win great prizes.
