Council has given direction to amend the minimum lot size in the Rural Zone where central sewer is not available. The proposed change would remove the current minimum lot size of 2700m2 (29,062ft2) and replace it with language clarifying that the minimum lot size shall be determined based on Nova Scotia Environment's approval of an on-site septic system to serve the lot.
