Activities
Mark has been an active member of the Chester Basin / New Ross / Chester Lions Club for many years. He was instrumental in the building of the New Ross Lions Park and is active in its ongoing upkeep. He helps organize our annual apple sale in September with arranging for the truck to bring in the crates of apples and organizing them into bags for sale.
Mark is also active in our annual Christmas tree sales with manning the lot and selling trees in addition to setting up the tree stands and signs. Throughout his membership of the Lions Club, Mark participated in our numerous projects to raise money for donations to Our Health Centre, South Shore Regional Hospital Redevelopment and Lions Foundation of Canada Dogs Guides to name a few.
Mark is also very active in his home community helping his neighbours in the Forties and assisting with the dinners at the Forties Community Centre. Mark has a very positive impact on his community. He is the person in the Forties community that people call when they need assistance. Mark and his wife are always willing to assist others. Mark, through his membership in the local Lions Club, helps individuals in need and our community at large.
