NOTICE OF AMENDMENT

TAKE NOTICE THAT on the 27th of June, 2024, Chester Municipal Council adopted amendments to the Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use By-Law.

The amendments include: 

• Revised Municipal Planning Strategy Policy Section 3.0 and Policy G-23 General Land Use Policies for Radiocommunication Facilities by deleted reference to Canadian Radiocommunications Information Network Services (CRINS) and added that a consultation policy can be adopted by Council;
• Revised Municipal Land Use By-Law (LUB) Section 4.20 to remove reference to CRINS and add that policy would provide the framework for the consultation process;
• Remove LUB "More Information" graphic on Page 57 which references CRINS contact information

These amendments are now in effect. Copies of amendments are available from the Chester Municipal Office during normal office hours. For more information, call 902-275-2599
