NOTICE OF APPROVAL

In the matter of the Municipal Government Act and the Municipality of Chester

TAKE NOTICE THAT on June 27, 2024 Chester Municipal Council approved a Development Agreement with Bear Lake Wind Ltd., Atlantic Star Forestry Ltd and Wagner Forest NS Ltd. to permit high capacity electrical generation facility use in the form of 2 wind turbines with  maximum generating capacity of 12 megawatts and maximum height of 207 metres at PID 60408820, Highway 14.

This decision of Council can be appealed to the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board (phone 1-902-424-4448) by any aggrieved person, by the Provincial Director of Planning, or by the Council of an adjacent Municipality until July 17, 2024.
