Development Agreement for East River Village
On May 7, 2026, Chester Municipal Council gave 1st notice of its intention to approve:
- Development Agreement with Lloyds Landing Limited to facilitate the construction and occupation of up to 249 detached single unit dwellings on PIDs: 60677168 & 60064078
The file is now proceeding to a Public Hearing, where Council will hear comments from members of the public before a final decision is made.
The PUBLIC HEARING is scheduled for Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, 151 King Street, Chester.
Residents can give their opinions at the Public Hearing and can also send written comments to: Pamela Myra, Municipal Clerk, 151 King Street, PO Box 369, Chester, NS B0J 1J0
Comments must be received before 4:30 p.m. on Monday June 15, 2026
Council may vote to approve or reject the draft development agreement following the Public Hearing.
