What:    Public Information Meeting for proposed Development Agreement

When:   6:00 p.m, Monday, March 4, 2024   
Where: Council Chambers, 151 King Street, Chester
What is it:  An application for development of 24 residential dwelling units, comprised of four buildings containing six units each. The development is to occur on 5 parcels that will be consolidated into a single lot. This use requires a Development Agreement in accordance with the Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use By-Law. 

How can I have my say?  This meeting is a chance to hear about the proposal and to ask questions.

After this meeting the Community Development staff will present the proposal to the Municipal Area Advisory Committee (date TBD) who will make a recommendation to Municipal Council. Council then holds a Public Hearing to receive feedback from the public on the proposed Development Agreement Council will then vote on whether to approve the Development Agreement.

All Council and Committee meetings are open to the public. Some dates are yet to be determined. Notices with the date, time and location of meetings will be posted in a local newspaper, on our website, on Municipal social media and notices will be posted at the Municipal Office.
