Information shared by the Village of Chester Commission reads,
"Upcoming Tree Maintenance in Chester
Nova Scotia Power will be doing tree trimming and maintenance starting next week (the first week of March) in the Village and surrounding area. This work is necessary to reduce the risk of power outages and protect public safety. Below is a map of the planned maintenance area in the Village, and an information bulletin about the program. The last routine trim in Chester took place in 2017. This year's work is expected to take approximately 4-6 weeks."
