Council and Staff of the Municipality of Chester are deeply saddened and dismayed by the events of the past two days. Our hearts are with the families and friends affected by this tragedy as well as with all fellow Nova Scotians and Canadians experiencing both shock and grief caused by these senseless acts of violence. We are demonstrating our support to the victims, their loved ones, and those left in the aftermath by flying our flags at half-mast.
