We invite you to participate in one of our upcoming public engagement sessions at a location near you. These are the final sessions and were postponed from November. We plan to gather feedback from residents about possible actions that the Municipality of Chester can take, which will assist the development of final recommendations for the Growth Plan. The sessions aim to be interactive and discussion-driven, offering opportunities for individual conversations with attendees.
While the sessions may include a short presentation to review the progress of the Growth Plan, the bulk of the discussions will be guided by five poster board stations highlighting key themes of the Growth Plan. The stations will allow attendees to gravitate to their main concerns and to participate in small and informal discussions about the topic of their interest.
Each station will offer problem statements for the topic and will use feedback frames to gather attendees’ level of support on possible directions for recommendations. Facilitators from FBM and MOC Staff will circulate around the room to answer questions and provide clarifications as necessary.
Throughout the session, participants can drop in at a time that is most convenient for them. Participants may also leave when they feel that they have provided their feedback and have their questions answered. This walk-in style is to offer accessible and inclusive sessions for residents who may have other commitments.
