Transgender Day of Remembrance

The Transgender Day of Remembrance is observed on Wednesday, November 20. At 10:00 a.m., the Municipality will participate in the raising of the Transgender flag alongside a representative of Lunenburg County Pride. This day is of particular importance as it’s not only a show of solidarity towards fellow human beings but open recognition of painful and unnecessary violence and suffering. Please consider taking a few minutes to join us in standing in that solidarity and remembrance.
