UPDATE re Pleasant Street Paving

ADVISORY: Pleasant Street between King and Queen will close on Tuesday, July 15 from 6:00 to 9:00 a.m.

UPDATE ON PLEASANT STREET PAVING
July 11, 2025

Due to the heavy rainfall predicted for last Tuesday, asphalt to repave the section of Pleasant Street between King and Queen Streets in Chester was not available due to precautions taken by the supplier.

The work will instead take place on Tuesday, July 15 from 6:00 to 9:00 a.m.

All vehicles in that location must be removed by 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 14. Barricades will be put in place with access permitted for emergency vehicles. Those with special needs uniquely impacted by this project should contact the Municipality at 902-275-1312 as soon as possible. Waste collection will continue.
