ActivitiesThe Municipality is pleased to offer low-interest financing to residents for clean energy upgrades made to eligible properties within the Municipality of Chester.
The new terms for our Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Financing program includes a lowered interest rate of 3% and an extended financing period of 15 years. The maximum financing amount remains at $40,000.
The PACE Financing program helps homeowners get expert advice and financing on home energy upgrades like heat pumps, insulation and more.
This Program might be right for you if:
- You’re an owner of a detached, semi-detached or a row house (multi-unit buildings are not eligible for the program).
- You are worried about the cost of heating your home.
- You are not sure which energy upgrades are right for you.
- You would prefer to finance any upgrades you make.
- You need help applying for rebates.
