NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

In the matter of the Municipal Government Act and the Municipality of the District of Chester

TAKE NOTICE THAT on Thursday, April 25th, 2024, Chester Municipal Council gave 1st Reading to deregister the Countway Mosher Home (4965 NS Trunk 3, Marriotts Cove), also known as the Haughn Property, from the Municipal Heritage Property Index.

A PUBLIC HEARING  will be held on Thursday, June 20th, 2024 at 8:45 a.m. in Municipal Council Chambers located at 151 King Street, Chester. 

Residents can give their opinions by speaking at the Public Hearing or sending written comments to: Pamela Myra, Municipal Clerk, PO Box 369, Chester, NS  B0J 1J0 or pmyra@chester.ca

Written comments must be received before 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 13th, 2024.

Council may vote to approve or reject the proposed rezoning at the conclusion of the Public Hearing.
