Our Pan-African flag is flying on the community flagpole today (and for the next two weeks) to mark February as African Heritage Month. This is a celebration that acknowledges the contributions and legacies of people of African descent in Nova Scotia and the nation. If you haven't already, visit African Nova Scotian Affairs webpage to discover the history of this important observance and Black History Month, learn about this year's theme - Through Our Eyes: The Voices of African Nova Scotians, and explore current and past resources.
