Syd Dumaresq is a fourth generation architect who graduated from McGill University in 1969 and is registered as a Professional Architect in Nova Scotia. Sydney is a Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada and was the past president of the Nova Scotia Association of Architects. Syd is the President of SP Dumaresq Architect Limited (established in 1974) and has practiced architecture for over 40 years. Syd grew up in the Halifax area and his family has been practicing architecture in Nova Scotia for over 145 years.
