Accessibility Coordinator (Contract)

We are looking for an Accessibility Coordinator who will be dedicated to researching community trends and challenges regarding accessibility, advising several municipal units on accessibility issues, planning, and holding robust accessible community consultation, and acting as a liaison between the Accessibility Advisory Committee and municipal units relating to the provincial Accessibility Act. This position is shared among the five municipal units in Lunenburg County.

The successful candidate must have a degree in planning, community development, or a diploma in architecture or engineering, or similar education with three years’ experience with project or program management.
